Mr wolverine, I am curious to know who the law firm is that will represent the CGC. Against the CCFR it is Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and they are business lawyers not sure how that is going to help in a legislative/constitutional challenge

Osler is a leading Canadian law firm with a singular focus—your business. From Toronto, Montréal, Calgary, Ottawa, Vancouver and New York, the firm advises its Canadian, U.S. and international clients on an array of domestic and cross-border legal issues.
that makes sense from the CGC point of view they are about to be taken out business but for winning not so much.

I am honestly not sure what this means as I have never been in this position before, I do know it will increase my costs as more lawyer's time will be required. Thanks for all the support I have received to date but please spread the word and keep funds coming as this scrap is only just beginning.

So basically, the Liberal Gov't is going to pay Coalition for Gun Control to intervene on their behalf - pretty greasy. Someone needs to find the financial link between the Coalition for Gun Control and the Liberal Gov't. Is there somewhere to start looking for that link?
    Yep, it's like that.....

I personally filed one very broad one recently in two dept's got two responses back stating they were going to net more than 10k documents and one of those stated a 600 day delay then 120 day delay to consult the individuals/organizations for recommendations on the contents of Atip, BUT that also means they can assert they own the documents and can try to claim they will damage the organization's "trade secrets" and otherwise financially damage them.

The next battle will be getting information covered by cabinet privilege etc, and anything they claim is protected information that doesn't protect privacy or something relevant to damaging the orgs.

Cukier has been involved with Ryerson for so long, with many high positions, who knows how far the spider web of gun control goes. Perhaps money is funneled through one of those "schools" they run through cukier's (bullying) "management"

the CGC is a consortium of about 300 or more groups (a lot of which are non profit womans rights NGO types) that is a lot of money laundering.

Yes you are correct. I believe they are intervening in three cases.
