    80's Marlin 336W - Before and After

This Marlin has been in the family since the 80's. It works well but the bluing was getting bad and it was starting to rust, so I decided to send it out to BBC to get it back in shape. It turned out awesome so I thought I'd share.

    It's done in Elite Smoke.

    After

Looks like it's brand new! They did a great job on it!
The perils of duck hunting are great - especially for the duck.

I threw it in a box and shipped it to them as part of their April promotion (50% off). I got a few quotes from other shops but because levers are so complex there were crazy fee's to disassemble and reassemble.

Edit: See BBC response below about assembly pricing.

We try to keep Cerakote quoting as simple as possible. A common complaint we get from clients is that other applicators can't give them a "straight answer" (their subjective language, not mine) regarding pricing. Unless its a promotion (where complex assembly can be labour prohibitive) we always provide free disassembly/reassembly within the scope of work we quote clients for.
