How does this differ from the Torrey Pines T20 you also distribute? Is it the same device with different branding?

T20XC is newer, has slower refresh rate and in return has improved battery life.

It also replaces the Torrey Pines T20 as that model has been discontinued.

I have a T20 - pretty cool little unit, cost me just over $1K. If this is the newer version of that, I'm not sure it's worth over $1300, but it's likely to work well.

If you have a problem, and you think someone else is going to fix it for you; you actually have two problems.

Improved battery life is a feature.

I looked up the refresh rate, the Torey Pines was 30hz, this one is 9hz. Good enough for detection, and a longer battery life would be great for hunts, but 9hz is possibly insufficient for using as a secondary shooting optic.

Cut the refresh rate by 2/3.

    How much battery life gained?

If that change triples the battery life, it might be a good trade off. Particularly for surveillance, navigation, or hunting, where it needs to be on continuously.
