Bill Blair, CBSA and all the misinformation and drama

I was informed by an internal source of a memorandum D-19-13-2 that supposedly explained the new directives. I called the CBSA Commercial Unit in Mississauga and they told me that the referenced memorandum was issued last year and that they are simply following its directives... they stated there has been nothing new... yet, they are holding a Midwest Industries handguard for my Marlin Dark lever action since July 6th and were unable to tell me why. They simply told me an agent will review the shipment and contact me if necessary. I asked them for a time estimate and they told me they can hold the goods for any reason for up to 21 days. I’m not sure how much of that is true but something has definitely changed.
