I did that to me yesterday. Then i tried an hour later and i was able to make the purchase. Maybe they do that on purpose to entice people to buy. Anyways i am glad i purchased one. GSG-16 has been a super fun to shoot except for the fact after 300 arounds if you dont oil/clean you get all kinds of failures

I managed to order one yesterday evening with shipping to Canada... didn't seem to be an issue!
GSG was sued by HK for the original GSG 5 being too close of a copy of the MP5 design. It was a slightly interesting case where HK won on the grounds of tradedress infringement that the MP5 being so iconic to the HK brand that other companies can't produce a gun exactly like it.
In any case what this resulted in is GSG making a Not-an-MP5 replica the GSG 522 and GSG 16, which has several design features that are make it look not-like-an-MP5. The conversion kit allows people to make their GSG-16 look a lot closer to the GSG-5 design which in turn looks a lot more like an MP5.
The big things are I believe was the cocking tube, and handle, the safety and the lower. The "upper" is the firearm in this design.
Also, I'm guessing this month's truck has already left, so these will be on the August truck?
