    +1, although I just shelled out $1300 For a round barrel 38-55, would have gladly paid the difference (within reason). For an longer octagon barrel 24 in.

    I would build a takedown lever centerfire in 44mag,45/70 30/30 etc

    Someone in the rimfire forum suggested that an 1860 in 22lr would be cool.

    Always wanted an 1860 centerfire myself.
