Wonder if you dropped the 7.62x39 barreled action into the 5.56 ar mag stock if you could run the 10 round xcr 7.62x39 pistol mags (rather than the 5 round mini 30 mags). If you could may be worth trying to get ahold of some spare stocks and putting together a few would likely be very popular.

With the 308 I personally think they are better off with the AICS pattern mags they use for their Predator, and their Go-Wild® rifles. The AR-10 rifles weren't as popular as the AR15, so not as many magazines around for the 10. Plus there's a lot of magazines out there in the AI pattern at good prices, and no issues with capacity.

Not enough demand for that round to go through the rigmarole to get the Grendel version imported.

There are, but in Canada the 308 model that takes AR 10 magazines, are an exclusive to 1 big brand retailer which I won’t name here.
