Cool PA - Athena BPR MIL Reticle

After sitting on the fence and looking at many options for my rfb hunter, I landed on a Primary Arms Silver Series 3-18x50mm FFP Rifle Scope - Illuminated Athena BPR MIL Reticle .

I'm really looking forward to this, and was pleasantly surprised to save a few dollars on the summer sale. I think this should make a great match for my long range plinking, thanks CTCS.

I like that Athena reticle a lot. Torn between that one and the R-Grid.

I like the idea of the PA horseshoe on the R-Grid for using the rifle on 3x. The downside is, it doesn't illuminate the grid.

In my case, I specifically didn't want the horse shoe, and I did want full grid illumination. The horse shoe makes sense to me on the SFP and FFP LPVO that have bullet drop compensation. Since I'm using this for more extended range, with dope the BPR Athena makes the most sense for me and it still has quick ranging for two legged predators or silhouette targets.

    That's a good rationale
