Have been to a few firearms demonstrations a decade ago, some other unrelated protests since then, and have observed/studied several more 'leftist collectives' types since then. Do definitely go to this CCFR march, but not so much thinking it will change much with the present government or MSM. The CCFR is correct from their point-of-view that it is mostly to be a P.R. exercise, including to gather useful video for the future.

The primary benefit for attending any reasonable demonstration or march is the bonding, social networking, and reassurance that normally occurs between attendees doing something that takes effort and might initially seem uncomfortable. And also the confidence that other normal decent people think strongly about matters the same way you do. That builds strength for future actions. Good luck from Saskatoon to all the participants in Ottawa, and make sure to have some fun while helping to wake up more Canadians.

I have two in Toronto who contacted me on Reddit that are interested in being picked up on my way through, however one doesn't have a firearms license and the other that does has been taking his sweet time sending me proof... I don't have an issue meeting people from online (done it plenty of times before) but I'm not taking the chance of bringing a sh!t disturber... so unless one of them can produce a PAL I'm just gonna drive right on through...

Sounds reasonable and responsible to me, either way Ty for coming to the front line.

Myself and 3 other CGN members who have never met until a few days ago had a great time meeting (6hrs) and exchanging info just to make sure we were all on the same page.
