Locks good on the lug but the ring around the barrel rattles around quite a bit.

Is yours from this latest shipment? Apparently these new ones are different according to the ad.

the original bayo had a lug within the ring that prevented it from sliding down the GL. i dremeled it down and it now locks but like LookingFA said it rattles.

i just sold a mod bayo done by another nutter, he actually shorten the handle, he cut and welded the handle back together and then crafted a wooden handle, amazing work. now, it locks and doesnt rattle. i shouldnt have sold it.

Its on its way by Canpar, so hopefully we'll know soon. On a side note, SO were very helpful with me paying by EMT. Good communications. I'm impressed.

I'm guessing the only difference is these bayos have the tab inside the ring filed off. This allows the bayo ring to slide over the barrel rings allowing the bayo to lock properly onto the lug. Problem is the bayo ring is now not properly resting on the confines of one of the barrel rings but instead floating over the narrower barrel causing the flop.

You are correct. It doesn't have the tab and does fit loosely.
Its a nice bayo though. Adding a rib onto the grenade launcher would probably firm it up but I don't plan on going over the top anytime soon so I'm going to let it be.Name: 20200822_114543.jpg

    Not much of an improvement.
