What was your favorite non restricted and restricted firearm when you were starting out? Im leaning towards getting something that uses a common ammo. Perhaps a .22 that fits a rifle and a handgun as well. Or is there such thing? I know ammos are specific to the firearm. Cant quite mix and match...

do you have recommendations on a private range? i wouldnt mind getting wait listed as i wait for my license to come through.
