Is there a Long Ranger X in 308.
Yep, fixed wing is great but rotary wing is ... GREAT. Life is good. JP.

The tube-fed model Xs you see here can't be chambered in something like .308 because the rimless case and pointed projectiles would line up with the primer of the round in front of it. The recoil of a shot would cause a chain detonation of every round in the tube.

They've only made x-models of their tube magazine rifles in traditional lever-action calibres.

    Well said.

Henry has put up their "What gun should Henry make next" post based on the suggestions there It wouldn't surprise me if we eventually see a Synthetic stock Long Ranger.

I like these a lot, but I hope the price goes down because $1355.98 is an awful lot of money for the 410. I would buy the 410 for $999 but no more.

I would like to see this in 44 mag as well and $1199 is better in the more capable and popular calibers.

I just checked the website now and both (45-70 and 410 bore) are listed at $1199 + tax.

If anything these are underpriced I expected the 45-70 to be several hundred more.

    Yes the .410 is priced at $1199 + tax = $1355.98

I would pay that for the 44 mag version but like I said earlier, I hope the .410 price gets reduced to a more competitive price of $999 and I would buy one. I will keep my eyes open for sales.
