++Oct 20/22 UPDATE++ 9 inch Carbon Fiber Takedown Barrels Anyone ?

Yes we have our provincially mandated hunting quirks. Been lucky enough to have a lightweight 12.5 bbl for many years now. Grouse Down.
If a Tuff 22 take-down comes out and I can match it with a short bbl I'm in.

Any chance you’ll be doing another production run of these soon?

Yes, we have the 9" & 12.5" in the shop (and some 12.5" out for bluing) now. Once these are done I will post a link to them here on this thread to our website.

Do not call or email asking please, the link will be posted here as soon as they are ready for sale.

Mill them 80s and boot leg em.

Not an official recommendation. I do not, on record suggest breaking federal regulations.

my question is...were they ever made in the configuration and for sale ?

Sorry, I figured my previous answer would serve as the answer. Yes, we used to make a Nitride finished stainlee steel taper barrel that was 12.5" long. It was the very first batch we ever made for the Takedown.

How to you tighten the XB5 linear comp, without the flats on the side like other brands do?

Two pin punches in opposing holes then use another punch to leverage between the two and nip it up. Use a little blue (not red!) Loctite and Roberts' your father's brother.
