Lightbulb Light Practical Carbine 1913 Stock - Anyone Interested In This?

    Good morning CGN,

The question came up on reddit about putting a 1913 stock on the Light Practical Carbine. With how our upper receiver is made we can make a seamless adapter for a 1913 stock. If enough people are interested we can look at doing this.

    Let us know below.

That would be cool. How long is the receiver, about 10"?

Just over 8" including the barrel threads.

Thanks, Spectre, for answering my question on Reddit and posting this here.

To give people an idea why you would want to do this, it would allow use of fixed, skeleton style MCX stocks that attach via 1913 rail. You could use these for a lighter SBR build, as long as the total firearm length is not less then 27".

Conversely, you could use an MCX skeleton folding stock or brace, or the upcoming Brownell's folding solid AR-180 style stock. As the LPC could be fired folded, the folded length would need to be less then 27", so a longer barrel would be required. This configuration might make sense for transporting a longer barrel, more precision rifle, like one in the new 6 mm ARC.

    Thanks again, Spectre!

Good on you Spectre for listening to your clientele.
    And great idea Ustauk.
It would be great to have an option.

I am personally not interested as I dont want to have movable link between the reciever and my shoulder.

I'd be interested in an adapter to have the choice and play with it to see if I like it.
    Insert clever signature here...

I would be interested as I was planning on buying a readily available aftermarket adapter that is available for AR-style buffer tube inserts / lowers. If you guys made one I would buy it with the pre-order!
