They have had an 18.6 barrel for sale for a long time now

For the moment, IRG has said only complete rifles in 223 Wylde NR will be sold. It is possible they may sell complete uppers in other cartridges, but nothing has been announced.

I feel like you maybe vastly under estimating the incompetency of goblermint bureaucracy.

    When available?
Listen, and understand. That Liberal is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse- only fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your guns are gone.

Many of the NR 308 semis that were approved NR were then prohibited. Hard to invest in a new item on market for the fear that it'll be turned into paperweight the next day

Where did they say 223 Wylde for a calibre?

I searched and can't find IRG confirming calibre other than it being 5.56.

I believe the implication that it was made by PWS and very similar to the Brownell's BRN-180 led to the conclusion that it is 223 Wylde, given most PWS products are, and the BRN-180 upper is as well.

Right you are - my mistake. They have just said 556 and haven’t confirmed anything else. Hoping for 223 Wylde and a Grendel upper in the future!
