Biggest design difference is that the WK has the ugly 2inch gap between the pistol grip and the stock. Whereas this one places the grip closer to the back of the reciever just like an AR15. I wish they did the same thing with the magwell but oh well.

Oh and PWS is known for its quality. They are as good as it gets when it comes to craftsmanship. Same thing with NDS. WK on the other hand is known for its great customer service.

Any idea if the top rail is machined into the upper?
Or glued on ,like the MCR.

Is the GB adjustable, without having to remove the handguard?

The top rail of the MCR not being machined into the upper is literally the most wack ass thing I have ever heard. I was really disappointed when I heard this. I’m sure there is justifiable reasons to go this direction and it is probably a choice they did not make lightly. However it will keep me away from buying the WS MCR. It’s a bummer because the MCR’s improved durability over the upper on WK180 is enticing... but I just can’t allow myself to spend money on guns that are glued together, I don’t mean to throw shade, but I think we as consumers deserve bette. Sadly the one major caveat is that better usually comes with a price.

That being said, I will probably buy the parts kit they are selling, hopefully the bolts they are using are less awful then the bolt on the WK180.

IIRC new MCR's have a one piece receiver with the rail integrated into the top, but the early ones had separate rails.

With that being said, we likely should avoid discussion of direct competitors' rifles in IRG's forum... if IRG is still here that is

I don't think addressing the issues that a competitor's product has that you wish avoided in a vendors new product is inappropriate. In that vein , hopefully IRunGuns and PWS will not use a roll pin in a critical, high stress area that makes the firearm inoperable after a few hundred rounds when it breaks, until the pin is replaced.

Yes, IRG/PWS/NODAK please don't squeeze out a steaming #### tier garbage rod. Thanks.
