It sucks to say this but this is why we have to buy Canadian, we just can't rely on imports during tough times.

I'd love to buy one of these but my money is staying with the WK180C & WS-MCR. I'd love for a semi-auto 308 version to hit the market.

    Here's the straight info.

    1. This is a tiny side project for PWS, they are currently swamped with US production. This includes PWS products and stuff they make for other companies. We (NDS) only have to make the lower so our risk is much less.

    2. Logistics: there is serious doubt that the small parts/barrels can be sourced in a consistent manner right now. Even if it was a go, lead times are a minimum of 3-4 months for barrel blanks. (if you can get a PO in Que)

    3. NDS and PWS are concerned about the unstable legislative process of OIC in Canada.

    4. IRG is concerned about the uncertain political situation in the US as regards to a biden gun ban.

    5. The group decided to "wait and see" what happens with the first actions by biden's administration.

    6. There have be some prototype uppers and lowers made, but there has been no production parts made yet.

Thanks for the update Mike. I'll move on to something else. Hopefully, the rifle is made in the near future.

Regardless, I think what folks are more unhappy about is the near radio-silence on IRG's part when they announced this product four months ago with the typical "stay tuned for details in (X) amount of time" and then basically ghosted...

Why not sell it stripped and let the buyers worry about the parts to finish it?

Previously, Range Warrior Accessories used NoDak lowers and Canadian-made IBI barrels to make their own 180 variant. They left the industry a while back to focus on oil and gas, but have now returned. They made limited numbers of their firearms, but I have seen no complaints on this forum or others regarding their work. Given PWS is swamped and leery to allocate resources to a project in Canada, would PWS be willing to license their design to RWA for local manufacturing with as much Made in Canada parts as possible for IRunGuns? It sounds like NoDak can provide the lowers. Just a thought.

Appreciate the post. Any news is much appreciated.
Hopefully we still see this product at a future date.

Perhaps if we start talking about zombie apocalypse or something this thread will get locked.
