If this is based on the BRN-180, then I'd say yes. There was some problems with the early BRN-180s, but those were rectified by the manufacturer, and the product is now on its second generation. There's not a 7.62 x 39 mm version that I know of, but 300 Blackout should be available, given it exists in the BRN-180 2nd gen.

But our uppers are prohib now anyway
The 18SC must be different from the BRN-180 offering that Brownells presently has, based on the fact that the BRN-180 upper is compatible with any AR15 lower receiver and is therefor a prohibited device in Canada now (eyeroll), so I would imagine that the 18SC is either done in the same pattern as the normal 180/WK180, or an improved version thereof (WS-MCR), or something different entirely.

I'm very intersted to see photos, whenever IRG shares them.

Always a good thing to have more NR 5.56 rifles on the market. Hope the price is right!

When has the NR tax ever made the firearms price right?

Apparently its made by PWS, so more likely than not, it will be the BRN180, but just made to not fit AR15. Same barrel and bolt etc, just different receiver pattern.
