Mine still shows as processing on their site but was told it shipped yesterday morning via email when I asked to cancel.

Strange there's no canadapost acceptance email if it went out yesterday.. my guess is it was packed yesterday or this morning and is just sitting in a pile waiting to be picked up.

Are there any slant brakes or 74 style brakes that will work with the type81 LMG thread? It seems like they picked a weird one but I don't know a lot about muzzle threads

Sounds like no. Some enterprising Canadian will produce them at some point in the near future tho.

Someone could try Dlask, they use to make them for the 858s, shouldn't be hard at all to modify the threads.
