    how do these compare to the midwest industries chassis? This one is almost $100 cheaper.

    This one is synthetic. The Midwest chassis is aluminum so it is heavier. The Midwest unit also does not include the pistol grip but one version of it does include the buffer tube.

    The upriser has a relocated magazine release so you can drop it with your index finger.

    The butt stock is also angled vs straight with the Midwest. And this takes standard AR buffer tubes

    Oh didn't know it was synthetic. Guess I'm going with the midwest. Nothing against the tandemkross I just like the feel of a metal chassis.

    If you don't mind a heavier long gun then the Midwest will work well. I handled one at the SHOT Show and it is solid. The Ruger PC9 is not a lightweight gun by any stretch and the Midwest won't make it any lighter.

    Yeah, I sold my MI 14" combat rail cause it just made the gun way to heavy.
