These have expiry dates correct? I’m assuming they are expired? At which point they would probably still work but no guarantee?
These are not any dates listed, but the production date is 2011.
Plates required or is the ballistic protection already included with the vest?

Thanks. Tried contacting them directly about sizing charts but wasn't able to get information and it wasn't posted on their site from what I could see. Is any chest size info tagged on the vests other then large, medium etc.

The Large Vests would have a front panel of 21" wide (As much as a 40" waist). At a height of 14" (Chin to midsection). If you were to wear a duty belt this size is very important as the belt stops the vest from dropping down while sitting. If a front panel is too tall it can ride up to high on your chin when sitting down

I did a bit of research on this a couple of years back. Most manufacturers only "ensure protection level" for 5 years after date of manufacture, while some it is only 3 years. Why? If it comes out of the box that same year of manufacturer and a person wears it on top of clothing daily; so sweating in it, sweat trapped under it on clothing, spilling stuff on it, bumping & rubbing surfaces, and exposing it to UV lights and weather; then they only "ensure protection level" for 3 years of that type of use (think police daily use). However, the manufacturer has no clue how much use it will get so they go with the minimum to prevent a lawsuit.

You can also see YouTube videos where people shoot 20 year old vests and they still stop a 9mm or .357 mag.
Better to see you informed than to buy from a great sponsor like Frontier and then blame Frontier for unreasonable and/or un-knowledgeable expectations IMO.
