We took a BFR to TACCOM in 2018 to show off.

It got some cosmetic damage on the trip or at the show; knicks on the barrel, cylinder and frame.

We kept it around as a demo gun for a year but now we're going to let it go.

It's never been fired and is discounted to recognize the damage.

I have the same revolver but in 500 Smith and Wesson. The recoil is fairly manageable as it's a heavy handgun. I have shot the Smith and Wesson with the comp and i didn't find much difference.
