    Cool WK180-C Enhanced Charging Handle

    WK180-C Enhanced Charging Handle

We have developed an enhanced charging handle for the Kodiak Defense WK180-C rifle. Our charging handle is a composite design manufactured from a textured printed polymer knob and high tensile strength steel core. This charging handle only fits the WK180C which accept threaded charging handles.

After attending the CHAS Battle Of Alberta 3 gun match and witnessing numerous charging handle failures on WK180-C rifles, we decided to make an improved charging handle. This charging handle is not heavier than the original, so it does not impact cycling of the rifle.

    Only: $19.99

We have no plans to offer a brake for the Type 81 or Type 81 LMG

What were the failures? Threaded shaft breaking?

Yup, we saw several failures where the shaft snapped right where the threads start. Could be a heat treat issue or design flaw with how the threads are started.
