    Perhaps they had a sample of the US "pistol" version? The FRT report (that vanished) that was posted in french said "arme de poing" so it makes sense that they had a pistol version, if they did in fact have one.

    Maybe what they are now meaning is that they need a sample of a rifle version submitted for inspection?

    Could you give me an idea of what sort of scale of time we're talking about? Multiples of 6 months etc?

    That confirms my theory that they took it down to inspect the non-pistol models. Not happy though since it will take at least another 2-3 years and God knows if we'll even have semi autos by then.

    In theory it can... but I have a feeling the lab rats would say they are all rifle mags since there is a rifle variant.

    I don't get it. I thought the US version was pretty much the same just with some US made components added to make it 922(R) compliant?
