Cool Gen 2 Spectre 10/22 Chassis

Gen 2 Spectre 10/22 Chassis - Available Now

    Hello CGN,

Our 2nd generation of Spectre 10/22 Chassis has landed! This chassis has been in development for about a year and is the logical successor to our successful gen 1 Spectre 10/22 Chassis.

The new chassis has the following improvements:

    • 1. Longer handguard. The new handguard is about 1" longer than the original. It still has 4 m-lock slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o-clock positions.
    • 2. Removable handguard. The handguard is now a separate part. This will allow us to offer an extended version for people running 20" barrels.
    • 3. Better grip ergonomics. The grip was moved back a few mm's to improve trigger pull, and we contoured the chassis to make the grip area more comfortable.
    • 4. Longer length of pull. We lengthened the rear of the chassis by about 0.5" to give a longer LOP for long armed shooters.
    • 5. Cheaper. The new chassis is significantly cheaper. The gen 2 chassis is $299.99/cad. The original gen 1 was $399.99.

The Gen 2 Spectre Ballistics International Chassis takes the 10/22 platform to the next level. Our chassis is CNC milled from solid billet aluminium to the highest standards. The chassis strengthens the 10/22 action improving reliability and accuracy while added AR carbine stock and grip comparability. The handguard is integrated into the chassis, free-floating the barrel and features M-Lok mounting slots. To securely anchor the action to the chassis we developed our Receiver Stiffing System (Spectre RSS). This system uses the rear action pin as a secure anchor point.

    Spectre Receiver Stiffening System
Barrel droop and a flexible receiver have long plagued the Ruger 10/22 platform. Especially when using free floated heavy profile barrels. Attempts have been made to add a rear tang to the 10/22 but this requires milling and permanent modification to the rifle and stock. We have developed a system using the rear take down pin as a secure mounting point. No modification is required and all the hardware is included with the our 10/22 chassis.

    Free Floated Barrel & M-Lok
A free floated barrel is essential for accuracy and cooling. The Spectre 10/22 Chassis fully free floats any profile barrel. M-Lok is the leading standard for mounting accessories. It is used by many military organizations around the world. Our Ruger 10/22 chassis is the only one currently on the market which features an M-Lok handguard.

    Precision 10/22 Chassis
Putting your 10/22 in the Spectre Chassis will not only improve the looks of the rifle but also accuracy, reliability, and ergonomics. The Spectre RSS system stiffens the rifle removing receiver flex. With less flex the action is capable of better accuracy and reliability.

    Specification:
    • Gen 2 design with significant upgrades since gen 1.
    • CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum
    • 4 color anodized finish.
    • AR carbine stock compatibility

    • The minimum length barrel with the 4 slot handguard is 10".
    • The minimum length barrel to remain over 660mm / 26" is 12.5" or 10" with a compensator.
    • You are responsible to meet all minimum overall length requirements or barrel length requirements to remain legal. Check with your local laws first.

What a pleasant surprise. I finally bought a stock for my 10/22 a couple days ago that hasn't even arrived yet... but it was a compromise on features and I think I can have it all with your chassis. Do you know the weight?

Man I wish a product like this existed 3-4 years ago!
The gun has played a critical role in history. An invention which has been praised and denounced... Served hero and villain alike... And carries with it moral responsibility. To understand the gun is to better understand history.
