I fell in love with a Chiappa 92 trapper 16". Bought her on the spot. As she was being rung in, the double ladder rear sight fell off. Next day at the range, shot ten inch groups at 15 yards. We had to say goodbye but she was beautiful. As is the M1....glad to hear that QC has improved. Super cool look though they should offer wood stock.

Nice looking stock on that. Have to see if a wood stock is an option...

    I think IRG has some.

I'd be in for one if the picatinny rail was readily available from Bullseye. As it is I'd be worried about getting the gun and then having to search the internet for a rail that may or may not end up fitting.

The lack of a bolt holdback seems to be the clue as to wether you’re looking at an updated one or not. Newer ones still have the notch in the receiver but don’t have the button on the slide.

These handy easy to shoot rifles have the same overall dimensions, trigger group design and sights as the original, but are chambered in the affordable 9x19 Parabellum. The receivers have a dovetail to accept our picatatiny rails sold seperately. The straight blowback design makes them ultra-reliable and easy to clean and maintain.

When will the oic rails be available and how much are they? Any problems with mounting scopes etc due to the height of the standard sights as they seem pretty high.

Want one, but am worried about QC.
Is the front sling mount still plastic, can it handle sling tension I wonder.

I was able to mount a red dot to mine no problems. The rear sight removes and has an dovetail slot. I simply ordered a dovetail to Picatinny adapter from amazon, the small two price ones designed for scope rings. Just used one. Held zero no problem
