I would highly recommend getting an IDZ aluminium handguard, KAC quadrail, or or a B&T low profile rail if you are going to run that A2. They also make an extended upper rail segment that allows you to mount any LLM / illu at the 12 o'clock position while keeping the same handguard. The shift from the handguard wandering can vary quite a lot depending on how are you holding it - especially with the bipod.

My G36 included the C model stock which has the holes for the cheek rest. Can’t find a cheek rest so I made one from a magpul 870 stock cheek riser.
