Canada Post Price Increases

Canada post has announced they are modifying surcharges and delivery standards for the peak holiday season.
Effective Nov 9 2020 - Jan 10 2021.

Oversize items - longest side is over 1 meter.
changes from $12 to $20.

Over weight - over 30kg
changes from $125 to $300

Unpackaged items
changes from $12 to $20.

Prophet River uses the Canada post api and shipping costs are directly generated by Canada post.
Rifles, Shotguns and other items that cant be broken down to under 1 meter will be affected.

Canpar, and UPS both have web based shipping tools as well as stand alone software. Prices are better (negotiated by contract of course) as well as weight limits, and size restrictions. Only drawback is PO boxes, and the territories.
