Not a bad idea but without cell coverage this is useless. I'm sure some people do have coverage where they hunt, but I'm not one of them

This seems a little unsporting. Drones and remote camera systems have become a no go in BC for the same reason.
From a safety aspect I really like the ability to see where my friends/family are but a simple location share with whatsapp can do that.
I like getting the deer as much as the next person but using GPS real time maps just takes away too much of the deer's chance to get away in my book.
Creepy... Does this come with glasses with a built in HUD system so you can always have the little mini map in the top right corner with your teammates and the objective ? What about a chat box in the other corner so you can see texts while you're playing, er, i mean, hunting.
This functions a lot like the team command controls from the original Ghost Recon video game.

Thatd be handy for party hunting for sure, again if you have reception of course.

NEW Major Feature Release BETA - "ATN Radar" Mini Radar when activated will appear inside the User Interface of your Smart Optic. In combination with ATN Radar App (IOS or Android) it will allow you to track every member in your party. Additionally, you will be able to tag with an ATN smart LRF your target and instantly share the target's location with your party.
Please see instructions for more information. Both a firmware update of your 4th gen or above Smart Optic and an installed ATN Radar App is required for the Feature to work.
