Canadian market did a heckuva job stepping up building these rifles. Like anything time and progression will yield greater results. I cannot wait to see what this rifle will turn into in the years to come. These gen one rifles are very good but imagine gen 2 and 3 etc

How about hiring some gun designers and or Consulting with a tear one company too sharpen it up. There are those of us who will spend $3000-$5000 On a quality rifle not everything have to be made for mass market thousand dollar or under price tag

The stated goal of the rifle when launched was to have a semi automatic rifle that accepted common parts for around a $1000 made in Canada. There were/are other options at a $3000+ price point.

    What about a push-button safety?

    Is that possible?

I don’t think it would be possible. It doesn’t use a detent like an AR. It uses the same spring and the bolt hold open. A 45° safety would be tricky since it relies on a large flat spot for the spring to ride on.
