Some misinformation in this thread. Quick history brief: Years ago there were a few firearms to be considered AR-15 variants (MKA 1919 etc.) Then it was argued that they were infact AR10 variants and therefor not prohibited. These include the MKA 1919, the NEA/BCL 102, MDI SLR, the Derya. Flash forward to May 2020 and the AR10 was made prohibited by name. All of those previous rifles that were argued to be AR-10 variants, have now become prohibited. The RCMP SFSS under the direction of Murray Smith is now arguing that the Modern Hunter, Modern Varminter and Modern Sporter are all variants of the AR-10 and therefore now prohibited.

I don't understand what you're trying to say. The AR-10 was also restricted. These firearms were granted NR status because they were not compatible with upper/lower of AR15 or AR10, thus not variants.

One model of AR10 was non restricted, the ORIGINAL, which is what the 102 was based on. The Armalite Division of Fairchild Aircraft AR-10 design.

Either way, I'm not trying to dispute or interpret the information in this thread, I'm just trying to gather any and all that I can. As it sits, in half of one day, I've got nearly 12 GB's of FRT entries but no inspection reports.

He's fairly quick to respond on Facebook, you might be able to get a hold of him there (If he doesn't answer an email).

Also, apologies Shaun; if I would have know you were looking for the more detailed inspection report, I wouldn't have wasted your time with just the 3 page FRT entry that you likely already had.
