There is no sling attachment point to speak of on these Galil stocks.

The handy thing to do, would be to loop a sling through the stock. I normally use paracord rather then mash hooks, or anything of the sort, so not having a sling point isn't a big deal to me. - that length of pull is tho - whew!

Here at Wolverine we also felt the stock was to long, we had them shortened. All the rifles we have sold with the "Calil style" stock have a 14 inch LOP not 15 inch.

Edit to add. Now that I know that, the image shows the stock being about an inch shorter.

Is this as easy as knocking the roll pins out and cutting the tubes?

EDIT AGAIN: YEAH! It’s that easy.

Knock out the pins holding the stock on with a punch.

Cut about 1 1/8 inches of both tubes.

Clean up ends with a file.

Insert stock tubes and mark center of hole with a center punch.

    Remove tubes and drill holes.

Reinsert tubes and tap in pins.

    VOILA!

Looks factory and the LOP becomes tolerable.

Oh what a difference just over an inch makes!
