    There's Mil-spec, and then there's Gunnutz-spec.
One is stringent, the other contains nuts.

QUOTE=All in fun;17623330]It's so tempting to get one of these. My biggest concern is availability of either ammunition or components. The prices for ammo seem pretty high. Still worth it, I think, but I'm unsure of a readily available supply in Canada.

Well something like this is the perfect reason to get into handloading! Cut your cost per shot to a fraction of what factory ammo would cost, and you get to tune the ammo to your specific rifle! Wins all around!

Nope. They don't. Universities are just liberal brainwashing schools.

If you could PM me any sponsor that has a fair supply of reloading components, I would appreciate it. I took a look a couple of weeks ago, but didn't notice anything in stock. Or possibly Cadex knows the answer to this.

Last I saw brass, it was something like $8.00 per casing. Not sure on the rest. Probably US. I suspect 12-15 per round or more Canadian.

For STEM fields of work University is ok. Its hard to politicize science, and math. Trade school has made some people in my city millionaires. Other than that University is a cesspool of liberalism and degeneracy.
