All those putzes driving hyper cars and getting pulled over by the Cops for doing nuffin...
Use common sense and dont be like "those guys" looking for trouble, especially those with cams rolling as they drive like idiots looking for attention.
Most stores will offer to wrap the pkg or ask it your parked close by etc...

At many gun shows the guys at the door have a roll of plastic tubing that the firearm goes into to take it outside.

True and well said. As an aside, I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that I would be shot dead where I stand by the police if I were ever to just walk around with a gun. If you’re right, that’s the law.

Depends where the store is. Few years ago I had an impulse purchase at my favourite shop in the Lake Huron area. I didn't bring a lock or case and was reminded that all needed was to take it to the car unloaded. Apparently people in the area were used to seeing guns and it was a Tiny town. Felt odd yet good at the same time. Nobody raised a stink, in fact nobody noticed. I got home and locked up.....done.

#? For example, what if my car is parked 5 blocks away?
Could you give me an example of a Gun shop in Canada that needs you to park 5 Blocks away?
