    Warranty:

    Wolverine Supplies warranty the WX-MCR rifle to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the initial retail purchase. The purchaser must be able to provide proof of purchase if requested.

    Additional Information:

    Again, looking at the original AR180B rifle, we followed their lead and in the new WX-MCR we once again have both the cam pin and the charging handle travelling on steel. To achieve this, we added two steel plates: one inserted on each side of the upper receiver which is CNC machined from aluminum. This added to the cost, but we consider the advantages well worth the extra expense. We also carried out some improvements to the bolt carrier. This resulted in a much smoother action and has minimized the wear associated with a hard steel component running on soft aluminum.

    As the WX-MCR is available in your choice of three calibers we had to revise the gas system, again this is different to anything that has been marketed to date. We have spent several months fine tuning the gas system and this has resulted a soft positive ejection. Another new feature not found on any previous production rifle of this general type is that we have added a case deflector. After several thousand rounds, we have avoided the ugly scarring that ejected cases can inflict on the receiver.

    The hand guard which is free floating features a 1913 type accessary rail on the top. We have chosen a long 15 inch handguard. The handguard will be required to be slipped off in order to clean the gas system. The gas cylinder plug requires a standard ¼ inch wrench or socket for removal. Any further disassembly or modification may void the warranty.

    These are made by a different manufacturer;
    But made to the exact same blueprint as the WS-MCR?

    That is correct. Wolverine continues to want to pump out as many non-restricted semi-automatics firearms as possible. It looks like the receiver is a bottleneck, so they've licensed to design of the WS-MCR receiver, presumably with Spectre LTD's cooperation, to Xtreme Gun Shooting Centre in Winnipeg. They are selling complete rifles, as well as receiver sets and proprietary parts kits for those who want to build a rifle on their own from parts of rifles that are, for now, safe queens due to government interference.

    The product is named after Wolverine's partner in the venture, Xtreme Gun Shooting Centre. You would have to ask Xtreme's owners why they chose the name in 2012 when they were established, but is entirely possible they grew up in the nineties

    Because they know the nitpicks will cry and complain about it like they do about everything else.

    As for making a new option available, thank-you Wolverine and Xtreme Gun Shooting Center Winnipeg! We need as many options as we can get to continue to enjoy our Shooting Sports.

    Cheers and Merry Christmas!
    PAL is required for all ammo/firearms sales immediately after buyer states "I'll take it". Failure to do so will result in the loss of your first to claim it position. Shipping insurance is extra and must be requested.

    The prebuilt WX-MCR should offer similar accuracy to people's previous reports of the WS-MCR. I would be curious how someone's "Gucci" build from a WX-MCR receiver with a high quality barrel would perform.
