Put wrong city on PAL application

    Hi all,

Dumb mistake but I put the wrong city on my PAL application . I looked at my passport and realized I screwed up. App was received on November 26th so do I have to wait until I see it online and then call (I know it won't show up for a few months yet)?

Any suggestions or do I wait and then call to give them the correct info?

    Thanks

use the 1-800-4000 call them and ask them. at least it will be on record you called in before they get to it.

Yeah man just give them a call and explain the situation. They may require you to mail in the correct info on a piece of paper but I doubt it.

There’s the easy way and the hard way.

The hard way is to move to that city and buy or rent at the corresponding same address.
This may not be such a bad idea, depending on how things are generally going in your life.

    Here’s the CFP number:
    1-800-731-4000

    Good luck and welcome

    Hi all,

Just to update and close this thread.

Turns out it doesn't matter at all.

The city you put on your app is what you have to put in when you access your status online. Thats it.

I called them and they said don't worry about it and just put in whatever birth city you put on the application form to access their site.

So if you pull the same bone headed stunt as myself, don't worry.
