Man, I must have missed something. Last Rossi I bought was $550 for the 16" large loop version.

Is this Rossi made by a different company?

I’ve had my eye out for a stainless rossi for a while now. Congrats!

Is made in the same factory but by a new owner... CBC, and now big improvement and difference between these newer models and old Taurus models

That's a beautiful looking gun you have there. I once owned a Winchester 94 saddle gun in .357 and have no idea why I sold it? Like others have said the price of them now is insane

I'd pay even more for one without that new "safety" they added to them. Definite deal breaker for me.

Thanks. Yeah, I was looking at all different brands of the 1892 model and just couldn't bring myself to part with the cash needed for a Winchester, Taylor's, Cimarron, Uberti, Pedersoli etc. It was still a chunk to hand out for a rifle that a mere 15 years ago would be $500 from many of those same companies. The buyer's remorse quickly fades though when you feel the smoothness of the metal finish and get lost gazing into the depth of the woodgrain. Truly works of art.
