That's easily fixed if you like to tinker with things.
8 years now and nothing is built, nothing is back and nothing is better.

How is the safety on the new ones? Like the Miroku Winchester tang safety?
pandering to paranoia produces pointless prosecutions of people

I have an older rossi ranch hand in .44 and no complaints. If they've improved quality for new production, even better.

I had a ranch hand that barely used and no issues in few rounds, but my Taurus made 92 was awful to shoot 158 gr, always get jammed, and won’t use Winchester ammunition at all in both 38/357, now with my CBC made Rossi no issues at all
    You're out!

On top of the receiver, just forward of the hammer. A real eye sore, IMHO. Not to mention, useless!

I was lucky to P/U a used carbine in 45Colt about 5 years ago for 500 bucks. Looks brand new.. No safety- a bonus. It's my favorite plinking rifle. Feeds my home cast SWC's just fine.

Had a Rossi in .357 with short barrel. Was a nice little rifle.
