I have one in .308, haven't had the warranty work done, inquired about it and got some kind of sketchy info back that left me wondering what to do. My other single shots have all been shot guns, and it was always my understanding that if you slipped pulling the hammer back, it would probably go off. Am I wrong about that?

I have one in 30-30. Great gun, no issues at all. hunted with it all season and even dropped it a couple times..rock solid, this gun is a tank. a few scratches but no misfires or problems. maybe I am the lucky one??
