I ordered the limited edition because I prefered the darker colour and added corrosion protection. After I ordered it I read that the blued ones are nicer and don't chip off. Here's hoping mine isn't so bad.

Blued is standard Mil-Spec. Every country has been bluing for decades, these newer treatments aren't as steadfast and reliable. Your always better off grabbing something blued and then having it cerakoated if you want it to be unique. At least in my experience this is usually the best bet.

Doesn’t seem too bad, most of that can be fixed pretty easy, but I think I had realistic expectations from norinco, so I wasn’t disappointed. I can confirm carry handle doesn’t lock in place, and some mags don’t fit well and not really the rifle.

I could have got a lemon. I haven't shot it yet. I don't plan to. My whole gun is a rickety piece of crap. Maybe the internals are good. I'm not going to risk it. Maybe other people got good ones. I'm just describing mine. I was very excited about it and unfortunately found mine is junk.

Can you post pics of the finish issues?
