Any upgrade wood kits on the drawing board? I’m still a little miffed that my wood on my upper is totally a different colour. (Yes I could strip and stain the wood but I shouldn’t have to. And the wood is not just different grain. It’s a different looking stain. )

You cannot modify it unless you have the new cutout wheel. It is an exchange not a modification.

If someone didn't want to order a replacement wheel, they COULD print a template, stick that on the 'dinner-plater,' and cut out the spaces needed by hand.
I don't know why you'd go through the trouble, but it's doable.
