Recommended reading for anyone thinking there's always gonna be more SKSs popping out of the woodwork.

    >Estimates of SKS rifles left in Ukraine are now around 120,000. That sounds like a lot, but the demand for these rifles in Africa is extremely high and as many as 40,000 are sold each year. The supply will not last.

Makes me want to grab an SKS, good read.

That would be funny if it sadly wasn't true

I got a Socom early 2020 from a retailer in harrowsmith on sale for $575 shipped. So it was alrdy cheaper then some Sks.

..the stockpiles of sks rifles have been liquidated, a few crates will still trickle in, but there are lots available but you need to jump in at some point. Private sale on EE will be the best deal.

its just like land: They aren't making any more....

    Will some be available, yes.
Will they go down in price, 99% no
Will they go up in price, 99% yes
Will you be able to buy big lots in good condition, very unlikely that will ever be available again

you will still be able to find mint condition ones out there, just expect to pay a premium and that premium will just continue to go up.

If you want a SKS, just go buy one, one of these days . Panic time is not the time to buy guns., Mind you it is good for dealers.

It is a semi auto assault rifle. Many civilians in hundreds of countries all over the world would be happy to get their hands on one for whatever price it takes.

Fixed it for you. The SKS is not an 'assault' rifle. You've been on here for a long time. You should know that.
