Or they are worried about nose bleeds from people shooting heavy slugs with their strong hand thumb draped over the wrist of the stock....

I could see a kydex holster with options to belt mount, sling or strap to a pack being pretty handy for people looking for a sheath.
The cylinder bore had me assuming slugs were fine as well. Hopefully your hypothesis is correct about a different choked model.

And yes, x1000 on the kydex holster idea.

Slugs can cause the soldering on double barrels to fail.

Rifles slugs are for smooth bore; sabot slugs for rifled barrels.

These little shotguns are still a fun novelty, but not the best choice for defense from wildlife.

I would love one of these slightly longer, like 24"/

    Yeah that’s what I meant:

    Smooth bore= rifled/foster

    Rifled barrel= sabot

Thanks for straightening me out.... on the rifled slugs

And also explaining why slugs might be a problem for soldered barrels....

    Why is this a recommendation?
I've got mine in and the manual says exactly:
If the barrel is marked 3 inch it will accept 3 in & 2 3/4 inch shotshells. We do not recommend using slugs in this O&U shotgun, except for cylinder and improved cylinder choke tubes.

These are cylinder choke. No need for people getting worked up, shoot slug until the cows come home.

I just got mine and was about to post the same thing. It's a shame people can't read complete sentences. Oh well, BTT.

Thanks TI the shotgun, looks great, lock up is tight. Can't wait to shoot slugs out of it.
