    Seriously though, that's some exquisite craftsmanship... But am I the only one who thinks the slots on the butt plate screws should line up when fastened?

    Holy crap good catch! I agree 100% with you that every screw must be aligned on any fine shotguns and rifles. No worries with this one, I still have my first dark pink rubber slip on recoil pad I bought with my Cooey 12ga single shot back in 1980. Sure it has a couple age cracks in the rubber showing and a few stretch marks the size of the ones around Vice Pres. Harris' yapper, but at least I won't be ridiculed by any of the guys seeing those cockeyed screws!
