looks painfull to shoot! I'm guessing it's pretty light too.

45-70 is more of a push than a snap LOL.

Very nice rifle. Might need one to go with my 1895G.

Sweet looking gun. I've got a H&R buffalo 45-70, not nearly a pretty as your Henry.

They are a lot of fun to shoot, you will have a good time. They can take a really heavy load but kick like a mule, not much give in the steel but plate. Sissy pad or slip on recoil pad is a good idea.
