CGN may be dropping our account.

In an attempt to increase our business and bring some truly incredible deals to the CGN members Wolverine Guns & Tackle initiated an auction on our webstore. At the time we weren't aware that CGN doesn't allow auctions and they have emailed us with the news that they will have to drop us.
We have greatly enjoyed the interaction with the members of CGN but we can't allow another social media platform dictating to our business.
Our online auction (while having a rocky start) is truly turning into a huge part of our business.
Once we have all the glitches worked out we will be initiating our online contest - another fun interactive buying experience.
We hope that CGN has a change of heart in regards to our auction but if they don't we want the community to know that doing business with you members has been a real pleasure and we look forward to doing more business with you.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Keep on keeping on. I personally would RATHER do business with entities who refuse to pander.
    Thank you!

That is absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully they reverse this nonsense. In a time of increased economic hardship and tyrannical gun bans, those in the firearms businesses especially, have to come up with more and better ways to increase revenue. It’s not an IQ test. What a way to increase divide in the community. Terrible.

The immediate question of course is why are auctions not allowed? Is it a legal issue?

Others have had auctions and are still here... Something is fishy.

That's sad to hear. I hope CGN changes this approach.

It has to start somewhere. It has to start sometime.
What better place than here? What better time than now?

If the auction wasn't on the CGN forum, and you didn't link directly to individual items up for auction, then how would the CGN administrators even know or care about it?

Was the auction or individual items linked on the CGN forum?

I personally found your use of Dutch auctions a bit annoying as they continually occupied front page space, but that's probably more of an issue with me, than you.

Edited to add that despite my comment about Dutch auctions, I have purchased from you folks before and everyone was friendly and helpful.

That stinks, what does an online auction have to do with the forum here?
I’ve seen you guys post stuff on the EE in normal fashion like everyone else
Your not auctioning off things here on the forum so I don’t see what the issue is?

Why is it now a days that there are no warnings or education? People make mistakes but then society steps in to take them down. Give your common man a break.
