    The wool insulation is sandwiched between the rubber so it is not possible for it to get wet or lose insulating value. They are also very thick rubber, which is a non conductor with a thick sole as well.

    My wife has the Mickey Mouse style, and I have the Bunny Boot style. Both excellent but I would have got the Mickey Mouse if I had the chance again.

    I found these to be too hot when working and playing in -20 to -40, just a heads up. They would be awesome for sitting in a stand or blind at -20 though I bet

    TBH I use kodiak thanes and they have held up pretty well. I just used a waterproofing parafin wax thing and theyve been pretty good. that combined with thick wool socks have held up really well so far. that being said I live in bc where the weather is rather mild when it comes to winter, however it's incredibly wet here.

    A Size 9 fits more like a 10.5 in regular socks.
