    Grey Ghost P320 slide, perfection!
Monsters exist, but they are too few in number to be truly dangerous. More dangerous are the common men, the functionaries ready to believe and to act without asking questions. Primo Levi - Auschwitz Survivor

Athlon Argos 2-12x42mm, just picked it up yesterday. Alongside the Vanguard it's going to be mounted on. Need to make a Cabela's run though, it's a chonky boy and doesn't clear the Talley one piece low mounts.

But it's a Vanguard so anything Mark V, Howa 1500, Rem 700 etc will fit, thinking Leupold dovetail bases and medium rings. Glass is clear and the scope should be a gem on my .257 Wby.

EDIT: mounted! Leupold standard bases and medium 1" rings, lots of clearance.

I also ordered one of these but it's been sitting in my laundry hamper until yesterday so once it was washed I tried it on. I *love* the fleecing on the inside, so soft and warm! Perfect for the single-digit temps we're having in MB. Took it for an outing to Cabela's to keep them on their toes
