That forend is an abortion, first thing I would do is take it off and burn it, so I never had to see it again. That being said, looks like it has steel iron sights (unlike the Little Badger). I would put a small wood forend on it, conventional wood butt stock, or even a skeleton wire stock, and shorten the barrel a bit, I would buy that.

Pedersoli has indicated that this rifle is still in early stages of production and will have improvements to it's current configuration. The holes in the stock are meant to hold ammunition. They have also mentioned that they are considering a shorter barrel as well as other calibers.
I will update as I get more info
Perdosoli is making gorgeous gun - but this one is really ugly.
They should fire the designer.
The CZ and CZ Springfield M6 copy garnered the same critisicm regards its lack of wood the large trigger guard.
But they hold thier value very well on our EE.
It's just a tool from a toolbox.
I suggest if this Pedersoli rifle is eventually chambered in 17 HMR and 22 Hornet they will sell themselves quite easily.
