Shipping Canada post is hurting your bussiness

There is plenty of posts on CP lack of service on CGN. This have been going on for more than a year now.

Their tracking is useless when there is delays. Even calling will get you back to the info on their web site.thats all they can say.
The card - notice - not left is a plaque - this is CP employees not doing their job - plain and simple.

Lost 3 packages in 2020 - insurances is also a pain.

Must say in the last month - got about 5 orders sent by CP that made it faster than expected - two BC to QC. If it was always that way, there will be no complains.

Here - Canpar - Fed Ex - even UPS work great. Those stepped up their services to pick up the ball...

My new henry rifle came 2 weeks ago, that monday, online it said, attempted delivery, card left. You guessed it, no card left, went through my security camera footage, we live on a dead end road, no delivery guy came to door and no delivery truck came down road. Why straight up lie to me, why not just put online, pickup at post office.

I've had good luck w/ CP if shipping strictly in the West. Once it crosses into Ont or further east, takes weeks. BC to AB and vice versa is still 2 days. CanPar is sketchy at best, UPS has been good, FedEx are a complete and utter joke. They lost a 150lb blower motor of ours last week. Completely lost it. Got a record of it being loaded, and that's it. Local driver refuse's to drive on a gravel driveway... Your in AB pal, maybe better get a different line of work...

This has happened to me for my last three packages. I begin to freak out but then a day or two later, the notice arrives in my mailbox delivererd with the regular mail. WTF?

With the Covid-19 pandemic going full tilt , and people shopping from home , Canada Post is completely overwhelmed . Then add in staff shortages due to CP employees who are off work with Covid , and you have the perfect storm for slow , and unstable , delivery .

Because there are absolutely no consequences. And these clowns went on strike.

I’m sorry but the perfect storm that I see is a completely entitled and consequence free workforce who routinely just don’t do their jobs. Everybody else is fine, CP is the perfect argument against public sector unions.

Canada Post has been dropping the ball lately.

I think they way issues have been handled shows they lack management, customer service, and don't care about fixing their problems.

I understand that times have changed over the last year, so you would think that Canada Post would adapt. They haven't.

Their tracking system is absolute trash.

The call centre is useless.
- they can't do anything more than you can. They must use the same Canada Post website that customers use
- they are extremely rude
- they can not solve any problems
- all they ask is "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

The insurance is a scam
- they have more ways out of reimbursement for lost or damaged good than they do for honoring the agreement
- it takes FOREVER to be reimbursed

With the amount of extra business they are getting, you'd think they would want to pick up their game. Obviously they dont give 2 shlts. Typical of a government run business and public service union.

Canada Post has been as good as you'd expect given the very difficult situation they find themselves in. They are still my preferred shipping option.
We'll see how my 2 pending firearm purchases go though. I did have one pistol show up in the community mailbox. Thankfully they put it in the right compartment. That doesn't happen with all my mail.

just wait another month for CP to deliver. For the last couple months, I just added 30 days to what used to take 5. Thank goodness that is getting better where I live !

Shipping CP is hurting your Reputation, I would consider another option.

Just a suggestion

There is limited shipping companies available, the Canada post complaining comes up all the time in my opinion Canada post is probaly one of the better. No shipping company is perfect grass is always greener.

Yup I have shipped hundreds of parcels with CP, and other carriers.
CP has gone into the crapper, and are becoming unfriendly to the firearms community
